By Duck Folk standards, Lois is fairly commonplace in appearance. Her plumage is snowy white and tufts out at the back and base of her neck. Her legs and beak are a vibrant orange color and her eyes are bright blue. Lois' figure deviates from the norm, however; unlike her plumper, rounder peers, she has a "buxom," womanly figure. Her tail feathers are also very stubby, earning her no end of teasing.

By age twenty five, Lois had become well known in Port Azhant for being an eager, impartial and generous healer. This reputation, combined with the knowledge that there were others elsewhere in as desperate of situations as those in Port Azhant, lead her to begin traveling throughout Regintine. She continues her travels to this day, hopping boats and walking for miles on end to reach slum-ridden cities within which to put her healing powers to good use.

'''Personality:''' Lois is compassionate in an unconventional way. She is optimistic, friendly and generous, but don't let her gentle exterior fool you; within her lies a fiery spirit with an unwavering sense of justice and morality. She has a good sense of humor and is generally very kind and patient with others, especially children; however, she has very little tolerance for troublemakers, although she will never deny them her healing.

Her outfits are open for change, though they usually have a blue or light pink color scheme and have a bow somewhere on it. Her cream-colored hat with a black bow is a constant fixture.

Her only obvious distinguishing feature is a water rune insignia etched into the back of her right wing. It glows blue faintly when she casts a healing spell.

Background: Lois was born to a wealthy family in Port Azhant consisting of her merchant father, housewife mother and six younger siblings – four girls, two boys. Her father's business sense and fiscal responsibility clearly skipped a generation on her; Lois was never interested in money, be it spending it, earning it or saving it. Rather, she chose to spend more of her time around her mother taking care of the family. After years of tending to her younger siblings like a second mother, Lois grew adept at sensing the needs and feelings of others. Thanks in part to this sensitivity, she decided to devote her life to helping others.

Lois wealthy parents made it possible for her to live in a much higher standard of living than most inhabitants of Port Azhant, which, like other Regintine ports, was ripe with crime, homelessness and poverty. When she came of age, Lois became a nurse, contributing back to her community by tending to anyone who needed medical aid in the city.

Her job got quite a bit easier when she tended to a rune sage ill with seasickness. Giving thanks for her warm hospitality and tender care, he imbued in her right hand a water rune, which she has since been harnessing for use of healing abilities. Presently she has honed her skills to an extent that she can cure a myriad of minor afflictions, poisons and curses, as well as patch up small wounds or abrasions, but she has a long way to go before she can master her rune.
