Jumping up the mountain

From the game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Super Nintendo

Go to the Death Mountain Descent. Go to the area in the first screenshot and then hold down. Link will shake and then jump upwards. When you get back up, the screen will look weird.
