Get the quadra magic early

To get the quadra magic without the blue chocobo, fly over to the cave near Midel. Now go to the spot where the land and the dirt overcross. Go to the weird ledge. It's on a slant, unlike the rest. Also, it's more crooked than the rest. Hold down square, then land and hold right and L2. If you did it right, you should land on the ledge and get off on the dirt. Just walk in, examine the blue crystal, and you got the quadra magic.
