Avoid fighting some monsters

From the game Halo for the Microsoft XBOX.

This is a glitch that allows you to skip some hard monsters. When you have to activate the halo-bridge in the halo level, drive through the monsters and park your warthog near the slightly slanted wall. Now jump ontop of the gun, to the control panel. Press it, get in your warthog, and run. You get to miss about 75 monsters.
