Name: Xaliotl
Age: 16
Basic Description: Short skinny little thing- a little less than five feet tall- with waist-length black hair and bright red skin and eyes. For some reason, he also has slightly pointed ears and fangs, making him look like some sort of imp. He tends to wear a light kilt and sandals; maybe a cloak if it's raining or really cold. Personality: Xali is loud and high-spirited, as passionate as any other Fire Aspect and more than some. Though somewhat more composed than he was when he first Exalted, he's still young, and has a great tendency to act before he thinks. Xali desires power, but he desires it because he considers his Exaltation to be an obligation to help people, and more power/skill/knowledge/etc. makes him better at doing that. Despite some experience, he still has a mostly four-color view of heroism, though he might eventually grow out of that. Maybe.
Origin: Teeny little place a ways from Chiaroscuro. Teeny!

Allies **

• Iktli - Full Moon Lunar, Dingo Totem. Iktli is a couple of years older than Xali, and nearly his opposite. Stolid and temperate, he nevertheless has a quick mind and a quick tongue, and the two often act more like rivals than friends- rather, they tend to consider each other more brothers than any sort of friends, which explains part of that.
  
• Cynis Meredith - Wood Aspect DB. This is the MAist mentioned in the intro; she's since made her way back to the Isle and is continuing with her dual goals of getting rich and learning to beat the crap out of people she doesn't like. She thinks Xali is a little dear and still figures she owes him for what he did on top of being a friend, so she's a bit more than a contact. (She also has a bit of a thing for Iktli, if it matters.)
  

Contacts ***
Like most wandering heroes, Xali meets a lot of people. The three big ones are:

• A'ikana Kalil, the girl from Chiaroscuro. He doesn't entirely remember her... but she remembers him, and despite having left a lot of that part of her life behind, might help him if he needs something regarding the Bureaus that she's around for. (A'ikana is a Sid character of mine whose backstory abuts with Xali's.)
  
• Aidan, the Arctic Fox Lunar who led him to his sorcerous mentor, and who is also a student of said mentor. Ey is still in the North somewhere.
  
• I think I'll leave this open until it's necessary/desired/will help tie PCs together.
  

Artifacts

• Pair of Short Daiklaves, Red Jade, Dawnsliver and Duskfall (**+**, Spd4 Acc+4 Dmg7L Def+1 Rate2 &Att3each). Thin scimitar-shaped blades, these were heirlooms his mother took and gave to him when he Exalted. They do bear a small Sesus mons on each hilt, and some sort of power to bring them to two dots which the player will add as soon as they get a handle on this "crunch" thing.
  
• Lamellar, Red Jade (**, +8L/+9B H5L/5B M-1 F0 &att3). One of the Lunars Xali was with had taken this from a Wild Hunter, and thought it would make an amusing gift.
  
• Dragon Tear Tiara (**, +1 Perception, +3 geomancy/non-sorcery occult Per rolls, hearthstone setting, &att2). Found this in the manse. :3
  

Cult *
He gets mistaken for a lot of things- a really non-iconic Hesiesh, a God-Blooded, a young god, a Raksha... This is the result of two or three versions of the story.

When one travels regularly, one finds neat things.

• Amber River, Wood (Jewel of Youthful Suppleness *, +2 Athletics/+2 escaping from things)

Mentor ***

• Gerwahl, No Moon Reindeer Lunar. Crafty sorceror. Lives in cave in middle of fuck nowhere, the better to give the impression of being a crotchety old wise man with.
  

Merits/Flaws
Complete Lack of Direction Sense: The cost was based off Internal Compass, and it's roughly similar; as the name states, Xali will get lost if left to his own devices. Compass and map will not help. This is one major reason why Iktli insisted on going with. (This is a character schtick and I think it's funny, that's about it.)
Unusual Appearance: Well... even with high breeding, most DBs don't look like bright red slightly-taller-than-normal-goblins. In fact, very little does. He's actually looked like this all his life, so it's probably not a Wyld pox, whyever it is...
