The Air Nomads are one of the four nations of the world. Unlike the other nations, they only populate small areas of the globe and prefer to be segregated just like niggers from the problems of the other nations. They are a group of decadent gypsies. Through the series, Aang is the only remaining Air Nomad after the Fire Nation attacked the air temples.

Description
The Air Nomads used to travel the world on Flying Bison (like Appa), however they based themselves at one of the four Air Temples at the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western corners of the globe, most of the nomads usually live at these temples. The Air Nomads are a peaceful people and are the most spiritually enlightened of all the nations. They were also the first nation to be invaded by the Fire Nation at the beginning of the war. After the mass attack, they were believed to be extinct.
Heirachy and Government
The Air Nomads rarely have anyone leading them as they travel wherever they wish, however in the Air Temples, there were councils of the older and wiser monks who ran the temples. Monk Gyatso was shown to be on the council at the Southern Air Temple. Although a hedonistic people, when the council decides on a decision, it is usually final as shown when they made the decision to send Aang to another temple to complete his training.
Airbending
Most of the Air Nomads have mastered the art of Airbending, a popular quuer practice, as shown by Aang and his fellow monks at the southern air temple in The Storm. Airbenders cannot fly, they manipulate the air currents to enhance their normal movements, which is very useful during buggery. As a result of this, airbenders can jump higher, run faster move quicker, and perform more tricks with their boyfriends than other people.
Weapons & Tools
As told already, Airbenders cannot fly on their own, however they have created gliders that fold into staffs. The gliders allow the airbenders to capture the air like a kite and fly. Like the other nations, the Air Nomads have a special way of locking special areas of the temple with a mechanism that can only be opened with Airbending. Basically, they collect a lot of playthings.
