Ferret is hard-working, disciplined, and unfailingly polite when in public and wild and cheerful when in the privacy of his quarters or when he thinks he's alone. He loves hot tea with a passion, having had too little of it when he was younger, and takes it with milk and butter. During the times when he's not on duty he spends it at the Strange Pastures Tea Shop or exploring the labyrinthine halls and tunnels of the Dream, careful to note restricted areas to avoid trouble.

Sagacious Ferret is a young man around eighteen years of age standing six feet tall, give or take an inch, and a runner's build. He has the fair complexion of someone born in the North and usually wears his dirty blond, shoulder-length hair tied back in a ponytail.
When on duty he wears the regulation navy blue coveralls with the copper web insignia. When off duty he wears well-used leathers, which are usually stained with various substances due to his explorations of the hallways and tunnels of the Dream.

Sagacious Ferret was to a poor family living in Underton Whitewall. As a child he was always running around and exploring Underton. When he was old enough to work he used his athleticism and knowledge of the city's tunnels to hire himself out as a messenger, and earned himself a reputation for being fast and reliable. As Destiny would have it, he was one of the people who was picked up by the Dream of Sweet Rain on its way North.
