[edit] Dukokinoko Momo

Dukokinoko Momo is the head of the Sweet Rain Technical Corps, and as of recent events, a Solar Exalt of the Twilight Caste. Really, everyone should have seen this coming, given that she's got the biggest ovaries on board.

[edit] Appearance

Momo could not have been considered one of the most striking beauties on board- flat, short, a little frumpy and generally uninterested in the universal back and forth of sexual politics that happened on board, she presented a picture of stern authority from five feet even, which has created an iconic image of the woman telling off dragon-bloods with twice her weight and reach. And succeeding, all in a frumpy jumpsuit that is highly unflattering. Add to this a carefully-cropped short bit of hair the color of a summer peach and you've got her in a nutshell- before recent events.

The navy jumpsuit is faded; cut open. On her arm there is a bloodied white scarf- Sis's- and an open hole in the pant leg, ragged and serrated. The skin underneath is whole. Her hair is now a wild pink instead of the faded peach-color. As to her body, well... The wildest imaginings of the Technical Corps were made whole and flesh.

[edit] Personality

In a word, "Grumpy". She is gruff, persistently annoyed, and everyone wonders why Sis puts up with her (bawdy stories aside). When she wants something done she will tell you on no uncertain terms what is to be done and then you do it or suffer the consequences.

When in command, her orders are clear, and entirely objective-based; her style largely one that lets people get on with their jobs. Her usual policy with damage control is to wait three minutes after the explosions stop before asking for a damage assessment, so confident is she in the competence of her crew. This also lets her subordinates with large heads sate their egos before she calls them, something that many of them haven't noticed (her smirks not being visible over PA system).

[edit] History

See also: Being a mortal in a position of authority.

Being just such a mortal, she is used to playing politics and bouncing big-headed craft-monkeys off each other. While she was unaccustomed to a position of real authority, she's the only one who stepped up to take the job, proving that Valor may do what the Exalted may not. As she made sure that things got done while everyone ele was busy organizing, a groundswell of support and de facto leadership became de jure when the The Reaver Plague hit, occupying most of the rivals for the role.

Recently, she gained the Cathedral, and made partial repairs to it; these events led directly to her Exaltation.

What she'll do now is anyone's guess; her recent Exaltation has left her as a Wild Card.
