[edit] 2nd Gig

[edit] Toons These Days

Doggie: Sweet Katzenburg, Guess who's back for more Adventures in Badassery! That's Right, The Guys who came up with Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain are meshing the two together to cook up something Special to add to Adult Swim's Pile of Anime to Rerun over and over to boost the Ratings as quickly as possible! It's goin' by the Title of 2nd Gig, Kinda like the Anime with the (Cue Image of Robotgirl with the Hair, Clothes and Physical Proportions of Major Kisuragi from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) Buxom Robotgirl. (We see Jess, Jade and Maddie with Cheza dressed as Snow White) Anyway, the Show's about Two girls, one of them's got a twin sister or somethin', as they bump into Cheza and her pet Wolves (Rundown of Caricatures of the Human forms of Toboe, Hige, Tsume and Kiba. They are dressed as Princess Peach, Homer Simpson, Gary Oak and "Prince Raisin-Bran" from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves) Wimpy, Fatty, Rival and Potential Love Interest Kiba. (Back to Doggie) They spend four episodes grumping about before they head aboard the (Image of Absolution B3BOP) Slightly Disneyfied Bebop to Join the Reunited Bebop Crew, (Image of Jet Black) Seasoned Veteran Jet Black, (Image of Kassandra dressed as Faye Valentine) Tricky, yet ever bodacious Scam Artist Faye Valentine (Image of 2ndGig!Radical Edward with Rediculus Bodily Proportions) The now Fully-Grown Hacker Chick Edward and the (Image of Zombie!Spike) Totally-Not-Dead Spike Spiegel. (We see ) But the real stamp of Quality is that they add too many characters than you can keep track of and the three girls that get the ball rollin' are Totally-Cool-Dudettes! (Back to Doggie) Awww... You're trying to make me think you've learned your lesson about Totally-Cool-Dudes by switching the Genders around. How Cute, Like a Talentless Christopher Walken.

(Cue Walken)

Walken: Owch!

(Back to Doggie)

Doggie: Well, one of the few misteps of this season is that none of the Writers came back for 2nd gig. Such a shame when ya think about it... But the way it keeps it's familiar Bebop Edge from goin' up in smoke (Image of a Flowchart for how to write an episode) is through it's use of characters in the Subplots planned by the Showrunner and Written by Determined fans of the Series. They even made a version of Toys in the Attic

[edit] JO Anime Review

---

Seven Years have passed since the Bebop Crew went their separate ways, Spike and Jet are still on board the Team, Faye and Edward becoming known as the Valentine Sisters. All that changes when Three Girls enter the Muppet Theater and encounter a certain Magician from a certain video game. One thing led to another and before you could say 'Bat Credit Card' Two of the Girls have Superpowers. -- With the Ever Expanding Crew means a quickly growing Grocery Bill, so some of them Juggle Catching Baddies and a boring day job just to keep food on the table.

Maddie: Seconds! 8D

Jet: There is none...

Maddie: Awww... :(

Edward: I Know the Feeling... :(

On the Technical Side of the Production, It keeps the same styles of each of the characters, The Muppets are filmed in Live Action, The Robots are all CGI recreated from Williams Street Wence they came, The Original Human Characters are devided evenly among the Wolf's Rain and Cowboy Bebop Style of Character Designs, Altered Interpetations of any Human Character get the same treatment, You honestly believe that this is what the Bebop would be doin' in seven years, you believe that this is an alternate continuation of the Wolf's Rain story and yes, A Certain little company known as Studio Bones is doing the Animation for this. And the Best part is, The Ensamble cast is rounded back up for this series, Even giving Voices to those who didnt have voices before.

[edit] 'Toons These Days: Top 10 LEAST Awful Sessions of Cowboy Bebop

JO: Ladies and Gentlemen and others, Doctor Who's 51 years, 11 months, 1 week, and 17 hours and 59 minutes of fame are finally over. Kingdom Hearts III has been shipped out in the US of A, Rebrands have happened, Plans were set in motion and the Bebop Crew's finally taking it's well-earned Rest as where the two new seasons are taken to [adult swim] where it will be rerun endlessly ala FLCL so it can age like cheese. They've been everywhere, from Hot Topic Shirts to Lunchboxes to even an Entire Issue of Playtoon of all things. But all good things must come to an end, and Kingdom Hearts III sure as hell delivers, key word being-

Doggie: (Chuckling) You're actually defending this abomination of a continuation?

JO: Hey, this is Cowboy Bebop we're Talkin' About. We're talkin' Sunrise, All-Star Voice Cast and Yoko Freakin' Kanno!

Doggie: Well, to that I say: Cher's Pregnancy, Superpowers from a Goddess and Boogie-Woogie Fung Shuei. (Image of a pair of Shilloettes, one of Strong Bad, one of Homestar Runner) There have been two distinct, yet consecutive continuations in the Cowboy Bebop storyline, (we cut to Strong Bad) one is slick, sleek and full of honest storytelling, experienced animation and all around okay guys... This was 2nd Gig, and it was Awesome! (Cut to Homestar) and then there's one that's obnoxious, repetitive and feeds on additional characters added for Toy Sales... (Homestar Puffs into a white house costume worn by Spongebob) Divide it by the quality of the original and you get 3rd Strike...

Spongebob: Ooooh! I'm a Neglective Official!

Doggie: (sittin' on a Toilet) Give Homestar some credit at least he's not being squeezed for ever penny he's worth...

JO: Hey, that's a Low Blow! You know Jess has a hatred for Spongebob!

Doggie: which is why she's blissfully unaware of who used the android as a body...

JO: I'll go prove that there's quality in the show with the Top 10...(Doggie Glares at Her)...least awful sessions of Cowboy Bebop 3rd Strike

[edit] 10. Just Communication/Rhythm Emotion

JO: Number 10 is sessions 8- and 8-, The OG Invader Episodes. It focuses on the arrival of Popstar-Cowboy-Assassins... (On Screen, she pulls out the Dolls mint in box) See these, they're called Toys, Dolls, Action Figures. They appear in the show so that japanese parents are forced to blow their well earned money on their wailing offspring's shallow desire for these child's plaything.

Doggie: Capitolism, Nature's Birth Control. (Scenes) Sure, everyone's back in the saddle in the Voice department,

[edit] 9. Goosebumps Episodes

JO: Number 9 is the two one hour Goosebumps Adaptation episodes designed to set up a few more Weirdies to encourage reading and pad out the crew for Kingdom Hearts III... Case and point, Session __ - My Hairiest Adventure. You've got some subtle sexual tension between Larry and Lilly that seems too few and far between to fit within an hour of Japanese broadcasting and of course, Dogs...lots and lots of Dogs...

--

Doggie: Which brings us to Session __ - Cuckoo Clock of Doom... Okay, Screw it, I just wanna hear the Jet Quote again!

Jet Black: Actually, this story doesn't go anywhere. At first glance, it's pointless. The actions are on a small scale and the ending is forced...

Doggie: Story of my life...

[edit] 7. Jessica Paltrivel, Age 17

"Bang"

Doggie: if that one word does not signal the end of the Suck, perhaps this will! (Cue Yoko Kanno's Blue)

JO: Number 7 is sessions 115 to 117 - Jessica Paltrivel, Age 17. Yet again The Sesaon Finale Makes the list, I Put this Low on the list because to be honest, whereas 2nd gig had a bit of tension as to whether or not Jess and Maddie survive the finale in the Frozen Tundras of the Original Wolf's Rain Anime, This one tosses a random chick we know absolutely nothing about and they expect us to perchase Kingdom Hearts III for a hope in hell for it to be answered to you!

Conroy: Kinda puts that whole Countdown Fiasco that went down in the DCU in perspective, huh...

[edit] 13. Dude looks like a Lady (Third Strike)

What do I think of the 100th Weirdie?

-Boring-

I've honestly felt bored because it starts with a few minutes of nothing happening! Then the episode states:

-I give up, That's It!-

As Absofruitalicious of a Badass Ikuto is, as High-larious of new Vocaloid Weirdies Luka and the Kagamine Twins were made out by the guys at Studio Boneless to be and as cute of a character each Hottie-Hot-Hottie of the Class of no Class story looks in comparison to the darling angel on which they were based, They all deserved a much better episode to appear in.

-Very Boring-

[edit] 7. Never Gonna Give You Up (3rd Strike)

Where do I even start with this... For starters, It's a Flash Episode, you know how those tend to turn out. They break out their Magnum Anus, Dr. Hige, Attorney at Law! If that wasn't bad enough, It led into the next stop on our tour!

[edit] 6. The Decision 3012 Arc (3rd Strike)

-Boring-

I admire giving Chris Travers some offspring to donate to the Thnikkaband and I kinda like the contrast on the girls, one is has a Killer Bod and Killer Muscles while the other hasn't even reached puberty yet!

Nixon: Nixon Always Wins! (howls as -Very Boring- plays in the soundtrack)
