Although women occasionally do enter military service, this is highly discouraged both by the military and society at large.

Economy

Most food sources come from farming and fishing, although some degree of manufacturing is developed along the coastal cities, where vast undersea mines worked by aquatic elves provide a number of valuable metals, the most valuable of which is the rare substance Mithril, which is taken from mines around Dalaran and in Elem's lake.

Demography

Most residents of the kingdom are human (including the nobility) however many Mer live in the coastal cities and in Elem's, which are designed to be habitated by both cities and contain a number of industrial and commerical buildings with above water and submerged portions for the men and mer inhabitants.
