Located on the north west side of the continent, the empire is the most militaristically powerful and ruthless expansionist force at the present time.  All citizens are loyal to the emporer, Hellinias VI and his line of succession.  The empire is currently at war with Tiras confederarcy, this war is nominally over trading rights, but represents a deeper abstract philosophical difference, the autocratic and highly religious imperial state contrasting with free-trade and liberal values of the principalities that make up the Tiras Confederacy.  The Empire also shares a long border with the wasteland regions, and as such must devote a substantial portion of there military forces to holding off the Goblinoid raiders who come across looking for human flesh.
