Tarian Treaty of Human Rights

Declaration

We the below signatures, acting as representatives of our respective peoples, hereby reaffirm our faith in the fundamental human rights set out below.

Recognising all Tarians are born with dignity and worth, we pledge ourselves to respect and promote the following rights and entitlements of all Tarians, and agree to do all in our power to aid, uphold and not hinder the following ascertions.

Articles

  • 1 - All citizens of the TaU are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience.
  • 2 - Citizens are entitled to all the rights and freedoms set forth in this Declaration, without distinction based on race, colour, language, religion, political or other opinion, or property.
  • 3 - Citizens have the right to life, liberty and security of person.
  • 4 - Citizens have the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.
  • 5 - Citizens have the right to an effective remedy by the competent national tribunals for acts violating the fundamental rights granted him by the constitution or by law.
  • 6 - No Citizen shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with their privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon their honour and reputation.
  • 7 - Citizens have the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.
  • 8 - Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of themselves and of their family, including food, clothing and shelter and medical aid.
  • 9 - No Citizen may be enslaved.
  • 10 - No Citizen is bound by any law that is contrary to any of the rights in this Treaty.
