A)The way that the Sierra Club is helping in the U.S. is with a family planning program. The sierra club talks to many teen women about the act of abstinance and contraceptives. While other programs only talk about abstinance, the sierra club talks tells the women all of the other options that they have. By talking with thesse young adults they have taken the teen pregnancy down by large amounts.
In areas around the globe, the sierra club basically promotes being healthy, and how to raise children under harsh conditions. They persue that women have family planning, economic opportunities, and other things like that.
