Jennifer Kathleen Majewski was born on November 25, 1971 on a United States army base in Augsburg, West Germany to John Joseph and Kathleen Elia Majewski. The first born grandchild on both sides of her family, Jennifer held a "special" position. The "princess" status was short-lived, however, because sister Andrea was born three years later. But, Jennifer was not disappointed to have not remained an only child. In fact, some of her fondest memories of childhood are of times spent with sister Andrea and brother Jason.

Andrea and Jennifer had great fun spending weeks during the summer with Papa (Sam Elia) and Neena (Dorothy). Together, they would travel to places like Hershey, PA; Cooperstown, NY; and Old Forge, NY. During those long car rides, they would plan for the restaurant that Jennifer and Andrea would run with Papa and Neena. Papa would be the cook, Neena would be the hostess, and Andrea and Jennifer would serve as waitresses.

At Papa and Neena's cottage in Cumberland, WI, Jennifer and Andrea would "drive" Papa's motorboat or make pretend iced tea out of a powdered mix of sand and water. One summer day, Jennifer caught a sunfish and was determined to have it serve as the main course for dinner. Papa didn't have the heart to tell her that it was a worthless catch. So, he told her to leave it tied to a line hanging from the deck. Imagine Jennifer's unhappiness when she returned to the fish, only to find that another fish had eaten her sunfish for its dinner. Boy, was Jennifer "mad" at Papa!

Family continued to remain an important part of Jennifer's life as she grew from a young girl to an active teenager. While many teens want nothing to do with their families, Jennifer was happy to have her family's support as she pursued her love of the theater arts, acting in such plays as You're A Good Man Charlie Brown, Oliver, The Glass Menagerie, Grease, and Godspell. They also cheered from the sidelines as she went on to assume the unlikely role (for her, a sports "unenthusiast") of starting left half-back on East Rochester's only Class D State Championship-Winning Field Hockey Team.

Jennifer studied English at SUNY Albany and SUNY Geneseo, and then pursued her MBA at the Simon Graduate School of Business Administration of the University of Rochester, while working there as a Copy Editor (she thanks Sue Elia for the introduction) and later, a Publicity Coordinator. In 1997 she began a new job as Special Sections Coordinator for the Democrat and Chronicle daily newspaper in Rochester, NY.

Eight months later, Jennifer would realize that her true career love was to work in the nonprofit sector. Taking a job with Hillside Family of Agencies in 1998 and having been promoted three times since she began there, Jennifer now serves as the Director of Marketing. She works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, and supervises the Marketing Coordinator, to market Hillside's services in over 50 locations across Central and Western New York.

One special caveat of the position is the flexibility the agency affords Jennifer in balancing work and family. Jennifer is the mother of two children, daughter Sarah Elizabeth Bacci, and son Samuel Maret Bacci.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys cooking for friends and family, scrapbooking, reading books on marketing and parenting, and decorating her home.
