Whiskey Corridor

The Whiskey Corridor is seen in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. The geography of the Erusean Last Defensive Line, aka Whiskey Corridor, mainly has a desert climate. Before the planet-fall of the 1994XF04 'Ulysses' asteroid an unnamed river that ran thorugh this area, severed as an inland sea route to inland cities. But the source of the river was cut off or dried up due to the 'Ulysses' planet-fall. The geology of this area, as we can see from the Goldberg Crater, is that this area is mainly made up of sedimentary rocks deposited by a river or a shallow ancient sea.

Once an inland Sea Route before the Ulysess's asteriod fell, the Whiskey Corridor became the last line of Defense for the Erusean Military. Due to it's Geographical location it is the only path which Ground units can easily cross into Erusean Territory.

The Erusean Defense line was seperated into three Battlelines and two support areas. A left Flank which was in Anchorpoint City, a Main Battleline which consisted soley of Battletanks supported by Aircraft and a Right Flank which consisted of two Complexes mostly comprised of Pill Boxes. In the extreme rear was the Erusean HQ for that area and a support area which had multiple Artillery units.

The battle here was the largest battle between each Ground Force and due to the amount of Erusean Forces, the ISAF depended on Air Support to help them win the battle. By the end the battle, the ISAF had broken through the Whiskey Corridor.
