Route 171

Route 171 is a large route which cuts through Arlon, Sapin, connecting the countries of Osea (Oured Bay) and Ustio (Directus); within total length of 1100 km. The general area around Route 171 is flat and mostly made up of farmland. There are three bridges which cross over the Aare River, as well. Route 171 was taken in the opening days of the Belkan War; some of battle marks along the farming ground and railroad line can still be seen in this area.

After repulsing an attack on the last Ustian Air Base, forces from Valais Air Base's 6th Air Divison were deployed to retake Route 171. Route 171 was needed to effectively move Ustian troops, as well as establish a vital supply line with the Osean Federation. However, the route was heavily guarded by the Belkan Armored Corps. The Ustian 66th AFU 'Galm' was supported by AWACS Eagle Eye as they lead the attack on the Belkan Ground and Air Forces. The Ustian aircraft performed a successful combat sweep across all Belkan held areas of the Aare River and managed to completely re-capture Route 171.
