Heierlark Air Base

This location is first mentioned iis first seen in Ace Combat 05: The Unsung War and later seen in Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War. The area around the air base is made up of rolling hills and low mountains. Due to it's location, the temperature is usually low with minor arctic conditions.

Heierlark Air Base originally acted as a Belkan Air Base which acted against the Allied Forces during the Belkan War. The base eventually discontinued Belkan Air Force operations when South Belka pulled out of the Belkan War. Heirelark then supported the Ustian mercenary Galm team during an operation to attack targets at Mt. Schrim. After the Belkan War and the acquirement of South Belka, renamed North Osea, Heierlark became a base for Osean Air Defense Force Trainees. The legendary Wardog unit which was active during the Circum-Pacific War was trained here. During the Circum-Pacific War the Wardog squadron returned to Heierlark after combating Yuktobanian forces in the Eaglin Straits. After their aircraft were refueled and rearmed the Wardog pilots recieved orders to take many of the trainees back to Sand Island Air Base.
