Amber Mountains

This location is seen in Ace Combat 03: Electrosphere and mentioned in Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. Amber Mountains spread from Southern Erusea into the middle of the Usean Continent. The Amber Mountains and the Lambert Mountains create a large wall of mountains which stretch across the Usean Continent. The Whiskey Corridor is a section between each mountain range, which is easily passable. It is believed that these mountains are located in the Republic of Amber.

After successfully intercepting a Neucom High Altitude Transport Group over White Valley Air Base, UPEO AI pilot ‘Nemo’ was dispatched to attack a Neucom Inc. Missile Base in the Amber Mountains, before the base can strike General Resource LTD. held cities within range. Nemo was able to destroy both missile bases; including the ICBM/IRBM launch ports and surrounding facilities, despite heavy NEU defenses.
In a second scenario of this mission, Nemo intercepts an ICBM which was launched from the Neucom Missile Base. With a missile lock being unavailable, Nemo used the aircraft’s cannon to destroy the ICBM missile.
