Mystics are buffers, warders, debuffers. Our spells are cold/disease based. We bring several buffs to groups and particular buffs to individuals. We also have dots and a baby nuke that slows the target's speed, but in raid situations, those are not used except in completing HO's. We're usually too busy trying to keep folks alive.

Buffs
Group passive buffs:
Umbrel Mettle, increases Max Health of the group, increases mit of the group against disease and against poison.
Runic Aegis, increases mitigation of the group against all physical damage and wards the group against physical damage.
Spirit of the Mammoth, increases the strength and stamina of the group members.
Individual passive buffs:
Foretelling, increases max health and max power.
Ancient Avatar, increases agility, strength, and stamina.
Intermittent buff: Bolster, Increases all attributes of target, max health, and enlarges the target. It can be cast across the raid, so we mystics usually watch for when it drops and take turns casting it on the main tank.
DEBUFFS!
Our debuffs are important to what we do since our major strength is in warding NOT in heals. If we can keep the creature from doing so much damage in the first place, then warding works far better.
Encounter debuffs:
Wail of the Ancients, Decreases stamina of target ENCOUNTER, decreases mitigation of target encounter vs. heat, cold, disease, and poison damage.
Lethargy, decreases attack speed of the encounter.
Individual debuffs:
Lamenting Soul, decreases damage per second of target
Shrieking Haze, decreases attack speed, crushing, slashing and piercing of target
Eidolon, Decreases strength and stamina of target
Wards, Heals, and Cures
Wards
Ethereal Aegis, single target ward
Umbrel Liturgy, wards the group collectively against all damage.
Prophetic Aegis, wards group members against disease and poison damage while increasing their mitigation vs disease and poison. Recast 1 min, duration 36 seconds.
Eidolic Ward and Wards of the Eidolon are instant cast, single and group wards with 15 minute recast timers.
Ghastly Savior is a save-death spell with 20 second duration which, should the target die, will cast Eidolic Savior on him, increases his power every 6 seconds for 36 seconds, heals, and wards.
Heals
Rejuvenating Rite, heals single target and increases max health of the target for a short time.
Learned Healing, heals single target and increases max health of the target for a short time.
Transcendence, heals group members and increases their max health for a short time.
Torpor, heals single target over time (2 second tic) while slightly decreasing attack and movement speed. Also wards target against all damage lasting for 14 seconds. It also has a recurring power cost to the caster.
Cures
Mystics are able to group cure noxious/arcane with Ebbing Spirit which dispels hostile disease, poison, divine, mental and magic effects.
Ancient Balm, dispels hostile Fear, slashing, magic, divine, cold, disease, stifle, poison, daze, mental, crushing, stun, piercing, root, and heat effects on a single target.
As all priests do, we also have individual cures for hostile Noxious, Arcane, Trauma, and Elemental.
Our Pet and Shaman Achievements
Now, Dogdog has some interesting buffs of his own. Every Mystic and Defiler will choose his own path, but the choices given us are all the same. These are the ones I chose and utilize during raids and such and are usually ONLY in effect if the dog is attacking... which sucks, but makes for a good way to balance things.
Spiritual Foresight, prevents AOE (unless direct), and on each successful melee attack has a 20% chance to cast Spiritual Foresight on the dog's group which will prevent AOE for them, as well.. unless it's direct, of course.
Aura of Warding, on the dog's successful melee attack this spell has a 24% chance to ward each of the dog's group members against 445 points of all damage. This ward stacks with any other wards already in place.
Virulence, on the dog's successful melee attack, this spell casts virulence on the mob for 24 seconds which decreases all attributes by 7.5% and stacks with other debuffs. The dog will also cast this spell if he is attacked.
Aura of Haste, applies an increase of 8% attack speed to the dog's group. It's always on.
Immunities, increases dog's magical damage mit by 4200 and the magical damage mit of his group by 801.
