Talk:Republic of Coruscant
From Dyos Wiki
I'm a little confused as to the Republic's early history. The impression I get is that the five cities were founded on Earth, so were they frontier outposts from Coruscant the planet, or did the cities colonize the planet later?

The cities colonized the planet itself much later in it's history. Sorry for the confusion since the Republic of Coruscant went by another name (Which I did not disclosed in the DYOS series) before I settled on the use of the name "Coruscant" - CivGeneral
- Second question: Should an article for Coruscant the planet be split from Coruscant the nation? — Thorvald 08:30, 15 November 2009 (PST)
It should, in the meantime, I can create a list of planets the Republic of Coruscant holds (including Coruscant the Planet, not the breakfast cereal) just like what you did Thorvald for the countries that are Eastern Union members. and how in the world do you get one's name automaticly tagged at the end like that? :p - CivGeneral
I tried to figure that out for a while, too. Apparently, up in the buttons above the editing box where there's things like bold, indent, image, etc., the second one from the right is the signature with timestamp button, it does that. --Choxorn 13:54, 15 November 2009 (PST)

Hi, new question: I was going to write a brief article on Franklin Roster, the chancellor outlined in your cast roundup in the Consulate; but when I went to verify the name with your recent comic in Part II, the chancellor was referred to as Hogan. Do I assume Roster has retired from the position?

That would be his nickname like Dubya (George W Bush), FDR, Teddy (Theodore Roosevelt). Hogan is Franklin Roster's nickname he gotten during the First Nazi War since he resembled (obviously in his younger years) Hogan from Hogan's Heroes. (CivGeneral 12:20, 19 November 2009 (PST))
