Charlie Bouchard is a Canadian Forces Air Force officer who served as Deputy Commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) from August 2, 2007[1] until June 2009.
Lt General Bouchard has served in the United States in the past as the Deputy Commander for Continental NORAD Region and was standing duty at Tyndall AFB in the CONR conducting Air Operation on September 11, 2001.
Lt General Charlie Bouchard was honored at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison Colorado during the 29th Annual MOPAR Mile High NHRA Nationals as NORAD and Bandimere are both celebrating their 50th year.
Lt General Bouchard took time out to promote two of Civil Air Patrol's cadets from Colorado Wing, one from Foothills Cadet Squadron[2] (C/Amn N. Smith) and one from Parker Cadet Squadron (C/AB Christensen) at the base of the tower during the pro Semi finals on Sunday July 13, 2008.
