Field Marshal Montgomery was one of the leading British commanders of the Second World War, well-known as the chief opponent of Erwin Rommel during the North African campaign. Alongside Rommel, Montgomery was one of the most chivalrous generals of the age, and the two share a friendly rivalry to this day. Currently, Monty administrates the Free Western garrisons in Allied-occupied France and Germany.
