The Kingdom of Rozarria

From Dynasts End

The most prosperous of the nations of Ivalice. Rozarria's century-long feud with Archadia lends to the poor regard with which most foreigners view the country, particularly those who wish Rozarria had lent itself to the defense of their homes against the Empire. The Lords of Rozarria still wait for Larsa to follow through on his promises, and, some say, are poised to strike at the Empire the moment Larsa's last breath fades.

[edit] The Ocean City of Valdivya

The second largest city in Rozarria, resting along her Western shores. Fishing is its primary export, and much of the city revolves around the trade. Housing is built on stilts across the beaches, some even stretching out over the water. The Western Ocean is notoriously peaceful, and as such Valdiyans have only rarely been victims to storms.

[edit] Hall Diatroma

Rozarria's largest clan resides in Valdivya, using her aerodrome as quick means to pursue Marks. Their hall is in the very center of the city, built to a giant scale. Inside, heads and horns of fearsome Marks line the walls and fur rugs carpet the floors. The Hall functions as a tavern and inn as well, though it only provides for clansmen and those traveling with them.

It should be noted that many of the members of Clan Diatroma have a pension for telling tall-tales, and as such, they're not taken very seriously. Most use the Clan Hall simply as a place for lazing about, drinking, and congratulating one another on their masculinity.

[edit] The Coerta Isles

A short boat ride off of the coast of Valdivya, the Coerta Isles are the favorite spot for the younger generation to imitate the clansmen of the city, staging elaborate fights and 'hunting' one another. After dark, the Isles are slightly more sinister and serve as a meetingplace for pirates, bounty hunters, and other undesirables.

[edit] The Chellah Oasis

The Oasis is often the first town foreign travelers visit on the journey from the East, being only a day's distance from the Yensa sandseas.

[edit] The Sunrose

Old and crumbling, the Sunrose is the main caravanserai of Chellah, enough space within her walls to house a full fifty men and their beasts. The lower floor is used as a dining hall and tavern, and the basement as storage for merchants traveling with their wares.

[edit] The Siren's Song

Rozarrian virtue at its finest, the Siren's Song showcases the young, female talent of the area. Singers and dancers, these young women - always of Rozarrian descent - put on a grand show, which is almost enough to make most patrons ignore the Siren's notoriously horrible brew.
