[edit] RPG Community
Anything In-Character, posted to Dynast's End RPG Community.
[edit] Acceptable Formats
[edit] Memigraphs
Anything that can be imprinted onto a physical page is acceptable for the RPG comm. Examples of this could be water stains, writing, or drawings. To denote things other than writing, use the following format:
[ A water stain darkens the top half of the page. ]
Others viewing a wet page will be able to feel that it is, in fact, wet, but none of the other pages in their book will be affected by it.
There is currently no way to make anything in a memigraph private or directed specifically to one person or group of people, though it's said that the Draklor Laboratory is currently investigating the idea.
[edit] Letters
The Chocobo Post is renowned for its speed, and as such, letters between correspondents are transmitted remarkably fast. If your character wants to write privately to another, this is the way to do it.
Letters should be marked as such in the Subject text, as follows:
[ Letter: Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca to Larsa Ferrinas Solidor ]
Responses will be considered to be 24 hours apart in in-game time, but players can thread at whatever pacing they choose. Just keep in mind that if you have a 'letter' that's 10 comments long, it spans 10 days of in-game time.
[edit] Tagging
Please tag any posts your character makes with their name. If it's your first time posting as that character, let a mod know and we'll add it into the list for you. Letters should be tagged with both the sender's name and the recipient's name.
[edit] OOC Community
Anything Out of Character (OOC) should be posted to the Dynast's End OOC Community.
Examples include character/plot planning among players, hiatus notices, mod posts, CR posts, or questions. All members have posting access to the OOC journal, and you can post in it with your personal journal or any of your character journals.
CR Posts and hiatus notices should both be tagged as such.
[edit] Log Community
Any logs (third-person interactions) should be posted to the Dynast's End Log Community.
[edit] Acceptable Formats
[edit] Third Person Narratives
Any third-person narrative, whether it's solo, two-person, five-person, etc.
[edit] Tagging
When posting a log, please tag it with the names of the characters in it.
[edit] Crack Community
Anything goes. If what you're posting is NSFW (Not Safe for Work), please say so outside a cut tag. Otherwise, have at!
[edit] Ratings and Warnings
Dynast's End has an R rating. What this means:
- Violence is acceptable
- Language is acceptable
- Sexual content is acceptable
However, we draw the line at porn. While we do love us some porn, we don't want the game to center on it. Your characters can talk about sex, reference it, whatever you like, but save actually writing out sex scenes for your own time.
As for warnings, we only ask that you put warnings on logs with graphic violence. Please put the warnings outside of the cut text.
