[edit] Satellite City of Tyrol
The former capitol of the Republic of Landis. Little remains of the former capitol; Archadian occupation forced much of the Empire's ways onto the people of Landis, building over their halls and their houses to make barracks and places of leisure. The resulting mix is jarring, often jumbled. Slums give way to grand mansions and market stalls to high fashion shops. Until recent years, this divide also applied to the residents of Tyrol in much the same fashion that the native citizens of Rabanastre were forced into their underground. Landisians occupied the slums, Archadians the towers. Emperor Larsa has begun to try to equalize these roles, but as both the Landisians and the Archadians are much bitter about these changes, they are slow in coming.

Meeting place and water hole, The Hound caters only to those not of Archadian stock. It's often the stage for many arguments and world-weary rants, and few of Tyrol's citizens come for a good time - most come to forget.

The Archadian response to The Hound, The Orchid allows only Archadian patrons, or anyone rich enough to pass for one. The bar is sumptuous and dim-lit, and a favorite meetingplace among the Imperials in Tyrol.
[edit] The Lendel Market
Though faded from what it once was, the Lendel Market still stands as one of the few landmarks of old Landis. The Lendel is housed in an immense hall in the center of Tyrol, and boasts the largest array of fresh fruit and game in the Empire. The Market fills every day, and for most in Tyrol, it is their livelihood.
[edit] The Balfour Opera and Theatre
Another example of Archadian dominance and excess, the Balfour Opera and Theatre is located where the Council of Landis once stood. One pillar of the old building remains standing in the Theatre's courtyard, a bitter testament to Landis' Archadian occupation.
