[edit] Bio
[edit] Pre-Dunehelden
Romulus can’t really remember where he and his brother were born, since their family travelled so much, especially when the boys were growing up. They do know their parents came from Britain, but to the twins, home is pretty much all over Eurasia. Their vocal accents are indescribable, influenced by several different dialects of various languages.
Romulus and Remus have a most unusual kind of bond. Any sort of physical pain experienced by one twin is transferred fully to the other twin, e.g. if Remus is standing on the ground watching Romulus climb a tree, and Romulus falls thirty feet onto his leg, Romulus will get up unharmed but Remus will end up with a broken leg. (This was rather confusing when their parents first noticed.) They tend to share sicknesses, and they don’t like to think about what would happen if one of them were to die. Or have… ahem… intimate relations with a girl.
For the most part, the two brothers are inseparable, and are always looking out for each other (not least of all because of the consequences of their bond). As twins will, they share a deep fraternal love.
[edit] Dunehelden
Little is known about Romulus' time at Dunehelden, except that he is friends with Nina Paem, whom he met at Dunehelden years after their first, brief meeting at a circus in Budapest, where Nina had performed as a contortionist; Romulus had been nine or ten years old at the time, and Nina had been six.
[edit] Personality
Romulus is much more quiet and easygoing than his younger brother, and reacts in a more emotional way than an intellectual or logical way.
