Jolene is a role-play character, based on the character from The Thousand Year Door, who runs the Glitz pit (also based on the location in TTYD.)

In this message board's Glitz pit, one must list their team name and team members. To reserve a match, the person who wants to enter one of their teams can PM Jolene, and should receive a PM back with who they're going to fight, when, and the battle condition (ie no jumping, use a special move). Godmoding is not allowed in the Glitz pit, and battles are typically around 6 posts long (3 per combatant.) If several days pass and a combatant does not show up to the fight, the other fighter wins. Rankings for the Glitz Pit fighters can be found in the Off-Topic board. The Glitz Pit also had its own booth in the NerrCon '07, with various informational flyers and fun character posters [madeinaboutfiveminutesinmicrosoftpaint.]

Jolene has been known to have an affinity for sweets and cute things despite her ornery characteristics. Doesn't really participate in the roleplay "plots," just kind of runs the Glitz pit and occasionally pops up elsewhere to talk about kittens or something.
