The Wei Society is an apartment complex owned and maintained by the Wei Family, generally used to offer housing for members of the family in need of shelter. Though not limited to the family, the current caretaker is Hao Wei, great grandson of the original members of the Wei Family that migrated from China years ago. The complex also proves to be the perfect front to hide the family's occult workings.

The original immigrants that built the complex did so through careful planning and ley line manipulation, surrounding the complex with shrines to each of the five elements within the Taoist tradition to help ward the Book of Silver and Jade. Beneath the central courtyard's asian garden lies the shrine, a spacious gathering room holding the library and implements of the Wu Lung leaders of the family. Placed on a stand within the center of a large mandala engraved on the floor, the family protected the book and the demons it contained for centuries.
