Professor Thomas enjoys going on archaeological expeditions in the hopes of finding ancient machinae and artifacts.
Recently caused the destruction of Elizabeth Thompson's school shop and car by accident when attempting to escape a pair of irritated salamanders with Rupert Walgrove.
