From Deal Or No Deal

The episode scheduled to have been shown on Friday 24th November 2006 was to have been a contestant named Amanda Edwards. Earlier in the week Amanda's stepson Gareth died, and the decison was made to postpone the show indefinately out of respect.

Amanda's name was included in the closing credits sequence of Alfie's game on New Years Eve 2006 among all the other players, so there can be no doubt that the game exists and was filmed. A decision on when the episode will air (if at all) has not been made yet. Fellow contestants and audience members have not divulged the details of her winnings so far, and the only three things that are known for certain is that (a) she did not win 1p (b) she did not win 50p (no-one has) and (c) she did not win the £250,000.
