About us

TheWiki is a free encyclopedia for everyone who want to look something up somewhere. It was made with MediaWiki: the same software that was used to make Wikipedia. Many people think TheWiki is a fake of Wikipedia and was made for fun. These people do not know what TheWiki really is. It is not a fake copy of Wikipedia, Wiktionary, and so on. It is an independently written DasWiki(r). It is available in 5 languages and has more than 1 000 articles in its English version. TheWiki is free. That means that you do not have to pay money for looking up something or for creating an account here.
