Settled form

During childhood, a daemon changes with their human's attitude and feelings, but as we mature, our daemons settle into forms that most closely represent us. In an analysis, it can be worked out how a form fits a human by paralleling animal traits to human traits. A variation of the animal (unusual eye or fur color, for example) may signify different traits.

For example, Rannock's (Okibi's daemon's) settled form is a coyote. Unusually for a coyote, his fur is black, which might signify an enigmatic personality.
