Please do not post details of scarce breeding birds (those included in Schedule 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, amended 2000). Any such reports will be removed. We would still like to know of such potential breeding records, so please e-mail them to us.

- 17th - South Norwood CP (dusk onwards). Blackbird, Song Thrush, Robin all singing on arrival. Tawny Owl watched perched in a bush for several minutes before it flew off. 4 Shovelers (3m & 1f) plus dozens of Canada Geese on lake. (John Birkett)

Pair of Great Spotted Woodpeckers chasing around noisily in Sanderstead Cemetery. 6 Moorhens and a pair of Canada Geese on Sanderstead Pond.
