ShoutWiki is a wiki farm that was created in 2007 and launched on June 25, 2010.[1]
Good Qualities
- It has a wide range of features, including many skins and extensions.[2]
- It has less ads than other wiki farms, such as Fandom.
- Many great wikis, such as the Anti-Wikia Alliance.[3]
- The staff are helpful when they're around.
Bad Qualities
- It's running MediaWiki 1.34, which is outdated. It doesn't help that the wiki creation tool has been broken for years and the upgrade to MediaWiki 1.35, while almost complete, still doesn't have a specific release date.[4]
- Support times are very slow, taking months or even years.
- Its servers can go down at random times, which is frustrating.
