You decide he can wait a little bit, might as well turn on the television, and check the news. Grabbing the remote from the bedside table to click the power button, only to find your TV. Isn't working. Well huh, the I guess a shower is out of the question. You assume the power must be out, some other Deputy must want you to come direct traffic, or something in the small nearby town. Too bad for him. You contemplate just going back to bed not much else you can do at this hour.
