Being a young teenage girl is tough!
As you start to tell him that you will see him after class, Mr. Jones says, "I'm so disappointed in you, I really expected better, but I do understand all the pressures you are under."
Wait. Is he not going to turn you in? Might there be a way out of this!?
"I think you need to see the school psychologist," he continues. "Why don't you go see him right now? I'll call and explain the situation. I think the fact that you cheated is a mental problem. You are a cheerleader, but you don't seem like a naughty girl."
Wow! He actually offered you a way out. But the school psychologist has only been there for a week, and you've heard he's a weird guy.
You've never seen him before, but some of the girls have said he made them uncomfortable.
Still, Mr. Jones hasn't even said he would report you to the principal. You should probably take his offer.
