White couple with two young children(60 Bi(IE/BM)

From Create Your Own Story

You turn and see a SUV pull up, out of the drivers side steps a while man in his late twenties, followed quickly by two boys, about six and eight, who race towards the jetty.

"Slow down you two you can fish later, let's unpack first."

"Do we have too?" They both whine.

"Do has your mom says."

You hear her before you see her, you watch as she steps from behind the SUV. She can't be more than five foot tall with flowing blonde hair and a slim figure, she looks out of place out here in the wild dressed prim and proper and you know you have to have her. You give them a wave and a hello before turning back to your fishing thinking of a plan to get her alone.

You are sat for half an hour before you hear footsteps on the jetty and you turn to see the two boys and their father walking down, the boys ignoring you waste no time casting their lines into the water.

"Hi I'm Carl." The father says "And these are my boys Ben and Dan."

"Hi, I'm Leroy, your wife not joining us?"

"No Emma hates to fish, she doesn't like the mess. Is the fishing good around here?"

"Off the jetty it isn't too bad, you don't get any monsters though if you're after them you need to take the boat out in the two hours before and after sunrise and sunset."

"Damn we didn't think we'd need the boat so we left it at the far end of the lake next to the town."

"You'd have to if was a big power boat, they're only allowed that end of the lake up here a small outboard is the only engine you can use."

"Looks like we'll have to stick to the jetty boys?"

They both moan their disappointment, but you're thinking quick.

"Hey I happen to own both these cabins, I also own a shack about eight miles up river, not a good place to spend a vacation, but great to fish, I'll be glad to take you there in the boat and pick you up again the next day."

"What do you think boys, does that sound good?"

"Yes!" They cry in unison.

"There's not much in the way of creature comforts, just take a few sleeping bags with you."

"I'm not sure Emma would like that it took a lot of convincing to get her out here."

"I'm sure she wouldn't miss you for a day after all it's the boys vacation too, not that we can do anything today, go tell the wife and I'll take you up there tomorrow."

He leaves the jetty and heads up to the cabin.
