You pick up the receiver to place a call to the captain (Whose number you managed to get on a stag do in Norfolk last November) You begin to dial. Before you are connected however, you notice a strange burning sensation in your other ear.

You try to put the phone down, only to realise that it is connected to your head; both your ears are bleeding. As the world fades to black, you hear Picard's evil thespian laughter coming from the phone.

You fall to the ground with the knitting needle still skewered through your head.

Verily, you are dead.
