What's Dawning?

You ask, feeling panic wash over you.
"It's a term, it's used for the people that have to wake up and return to reality," Luke said. The frown remained on his face.
"Woah, woah, woah, wait! What's going to happen to me, to my body while I'm here?" You ask, feeling sick. Luke puts his hands on your shoulders and you feel slightly calmer.
"This is going to be confusing, stay with me, okay?" He said. You nod. He releases you and starts.
"You're in the dream world Alaya, your spirit is here, but your body carries on. Imagine yourself walking around while you're awake. You might not realize it, but you'll still be partially in the dream world, not a lot, but a little bit of your spirit is still here."
"It's called Day-Dreaming!" Evangeline added.
"Yes, your body will continue on, even though most of your spirit is in the dream world, there is still a little, not a lot, but a little bit of your spirit in your body. Your memories are in the dream world, we needed you to remember your dreams, the spirit that you're remembering is knowing that you're in the dream world. The spirit in your body? It's acting like you would, how you normally act. You're just not going to remember doing any of it."
"You said there's always a little bit of my spirit in the dream world, does that mean you had this conversation with me every day?" You ask.
"Everyone has spirit in the dream world, every single person on Earth is here. They won't remember anything, just like you won't, well, you were supposed to not remember, well..." He pauses, then shakes it off.
"Ask any questions you have."
