WagerMD/Make a wager

From Create Your Own Story

You know it can't be any regular wager, and no chance of being able to set up any results in your favor. The stakes are far too high for that. You decide to make your wager with your daughter based on the results of the Super Bowl. Your Houston Texans managed to get past the Patriots, barely, to make to the big game. Like her mother, she is rooting for Dallas. They dominated the regular season and the playoffs. It is a long shot, but you believe Houston will pull off the upset.

You wife is away on business, and will be gone for a week. Normally, she would be on the couch next to you watching the Super Bowl, but not this time. It gives you the opportunity to place the wager without being overheard.

Before the game starts, your daughter is sitting next to you on the couch. She is wearing another of her skimpy outfits, which barely hides anything. You ask, "Do you think Houston has a shot?"

She shakes her and laughs. Then says, "Not a chance."

You ask, with as steady a voice as you can manage, "How about a wager."

She again laughs, and says, "Dallas is going to kill Houston. What's the wager?"

The rules for wagers were simple enough. Whoever came up with the challenge, chose the results. You say, "If Dallas wins, I lay off on the clothes. You can wear whatever you want, whenever you want. If I win, you have to do whatever I say until your mom gets home."

She asks, for clarification, "Like what?"

You say, "Like strip for me, if I tell you." You have no concern she will tell her mother, since wagers are never revealed to anyone else. You continue, by saying, "Bend over without your panties on. Basically, whatever I want."

There is an odd look on her face. She has never heard you make this type of wager with her before. Nothing even remotely close. She turns a little red, but knows Houston has no shot. She says, "Deal."

With 2 minutes to go, Houston is trailing by 5 and Dallas has the ball. It has been a close game, but with so little time, and no time outs, you believe you have lost the bet. Your daughter says, "Remember, I wear what I want."

You say, "A deal's a deal."

Dallas is on their own 5 yard line and trying to put the game away. They are first and goal. Their quarterback takes the snap and goes through his progression to his receivers. He sees an opening in the end zone and throws to their best tight end. You believe the game is over.
