"I'm hungry," you tell your cousin. "Where can we go that I won't be seen by my classmates?"

"I have the perfect place in mind," Maria says. "Do you like Japanese food?"

"I sure do!" you reply with enthusiasm.

"This is delicious," you say, supping on your meal. The hole-in-the-wall Japanese eatery at a small strip mall at the edge of town has no one you recognize as a customer, but it's the best you've ever tasted. "How'd you find this place?"

"By accident," your cousin replies, shoveling food into her mouth. "I was in this mall buying some crafts and I got really hungry, so I decided to try it."

"How long has it been here?" you ask.

"Five years," says your waitress, also the owner's niece, as she refills your water glass. "We have loyal customers. Some of them eat here every night."

Maria takes your hand in hers and squeezes. "Glad you like it."
