You turn around and flee but do not get far as you fall into a pool which has been covered up by leaves making it appear to be firm land. Just the kind of traps that you were so wary of a minute ago. As you lie there helpless in the water the troll hurls a stone at you that cracks your skull open.

As your soul flies to the heavens to meet your ancestors you can see the troll eating your and the bandits corpses.
