You put down your sword warily, and you look at her with a look of concentration. She doesn't seem to be afraid of you in the slightest and she apparently knew you were coming. Fighting her would be a risk for sure, two factors that you usually use to your advantage taken away. You also get a sense of power from the woman for some reason although you can't tell why. Deciding that talking is the safer option at the moment, even though it is against your instincts, you nod and start to follow her back to her room. If things get bad, you can always pull your sword back out and start hacking away again. If the gate couldn't stop you, you doubt that this woman can.
Following the clack of her heels, you find yourself behind her as she opens the strange rusty metal door. She only glances behind herself once to look over you as she leads you, another sign she isn't afraid of you. But why? You frown slightly when you hear screams from inside the room, wondering where this woman is leading you. You just keep your guard up, hand on your sword ready.
Before you know it you are in the room, looking around with the door closing behind you. It looks to be like some kind of living quarters, with a bed dominating the room with everything else one would need like a large desk and a dresser. The room was no ordinary room however, there were strange cages scattered along the walls with all kinds of what you assume are torture equipment hanging on some of them. Besides that the room is empty with a wooden door on the left wall which is closed. You hear another scream and can tell it is from there. "What is going on in there?" You demand, hand going for your sword.
Katelin simply smirks and turns towards the door. "Zuna, we have a guest. Come here at once and stop what you are doing." Moments later you hear one final scream, from a woman you can tell now, then a strangely beautiful woman with long raven hair and a very revealing outfit that almost makes you blush walks out of the wooden door quickly closing it behind her when spotting you and Katelin. She seems rather annoyed at being disturbed, but is hiding it for some reason.

Special Character Revealed: Katelin's Apprentice - Zuna
With revealing black garb and a small, slender frame, the woman would look friendly if she wasn't dressed the way she was. Her eyes give away a bit of mischief and she seems like she doesn't have a care in the world. She is also strangely enough not wearing the standard cultist marks. The woman is also obviously some sort of apprentice, docile enough to be subservient to someone while disciplined enough to know some kind of craft. She carries a whip and likes to play with it idly as if she is just learning it's secrets. Around her you get a false sense of security.

Once the woman is out Katelin turns to you. "This is my apprentice Zuna, a very talented mistress." Zuna seems to beam at that. "But she has never really had a real challenge." You notice Zuna's beam break slightly at that. "And yes, she is obedient." Then there is a strange spark in Katelin's eye. She then pulled out a small pill from her pocket and offered it to Zuna. Zuna takes it without question after a stern look from her mistress.
The next second her eyes go wide and she looks to Katelin in shock. "Why!?" The next second she is on her knees clutching at her throat.
Ignoring her, Katelin turns back to you. All you do is take a small step back wary of anything. What is going on here? "Unfortunately, she isn't growing anymore and has hit a roadblock. I think it is because she has never experienced her craft from the other side well enough. The craft of breaking people." Katlin continues, looking you up and down for a moment. "I have taken away her powers and weakened her physically for a short time. Because you have been so kind as to take my offer I'll give you this one opportunity. Break my apprentice for me, and I'll give you a chance to get through the first level of these caves alive. Otherwise I'll call all my guards and kill you. Simple enough for you?"
With that, the woman walks out of the rusty metal door and leaves you before you can say anything, gawking oddly at the woman coughing on her knees in front of you. You are too stunned by what happened to do anything. She would sacrifice her own apprentice to help you? Why? You look from the apprentice on the floor clutching her throat to the door. If you follow the other woman she'll call the guards, or so she said.
First things first. You are not about to leave this woman here to attack you later on. After what just happened she will surely carry some sort of vendetta against you despite the fact that you haven't actually done anything to her. No matter what you end up deciding, right now the apprentice comes first.
