Story Summary:

Our main character Zoe finally makes the varsity cheer squad at the start of her senior year at college and is extremely excited to get started. She has worked hard, and despite being one of the best on the squad has taken a long time to bump up to varsity. The main reason for this is that most of the varsity girls are black and as Zoe joins them she quickly realizes they look down on her and immediately start to treat her poorly. Zoe gets bullied away from all of her normal friends and things turn for the worst. The black girls on the varsity team, along with the assistant to the coach, decide that they need to show Zoe her true place among them. Before long these girls take over every aspect of Zoe's life including moving in with her.
