From Create Your Own Story

Looking into the mirror a last time, you realize this is the best thing to do for everyone. The only thing you managed to accomplish here is get on everyone's nerves and fail to meet anyone's expectations. After your 49th boyfriend dumped you yesterday, you realized. This place doesn't have anything left for you. Besides, you're allready 20 and your 1 year younger brother already lives alone for almost a year now. It's time for you to leave this place and start a life of your own. "The 50th boyfriend will be the one I marry!" You swear to yourself. Laughter from your 16 year old sister's room is your only reply. Cheeks flushed, you quickly grab your things and run off.

For a while, you just keep running. Away from all the bad memories and painfull experiences, to somewhere where you can no longer hear the laughter. Even though you cover your ears, the laughter keeps sounding in your head however. Eventually, you fall down exhausted. Looking around, none of the surroundings seem familiar and you realize you've gotten yourself lost. It doesn't really matter though, only makes sure you can't be weak and droop back home since you don't know the way back. You stay there for a while, Panting for breath and trying not to cry. Surprisingly, you succeed for once and get back up eventually without shedding any tears.

Even though they always call you an idiot, you aren't stupid. You know you can't live out on the streets, so you need a place to stay. Wonder if I should just ring somewhere and ask if I can stay there? Or maybe I should seek out one of those hotels where travellers spend the night? Ah right, you need money for that don't you. Feeling smart for realizing, you take out your purse. Your parent's never trusted you with a bank account, so all you have is the 4$ cash in your purse. 4$ wasn't alot was it? Wonder if that would be enough to stay a night?

Shoulders sagging, you wander around looking depressed for a bit, trying to make up your mind. A guy randomly approaches you, starts talking really fast about .. you don't really follow what it was about but you heard "if you want to earn some quick money" somewhere in there. Aha, a chance to earn more than 4$? He's caught your attention now, but before you reply he gives you a business card and walks off quickly. By the time you realize what happened he's turned a corner. Damn, but there's an adress on this card so you could try to find that. There's a phone number too, but you don't have a mobile phone.

Just ring some random door and see if you can stay there.

Go find a hotel, hoping you can get in with 4$.

Search for the address on the business card.

Wander around some more and see if you'll get a better idea.
