You stumble through the trees, there are lights scattered along the path that do little to help you see in the downpour. Half of them being broken by vandals certainly doesn't help.
You're breathless by the time you stop, leaning over as you wheeze for air. That's when you spot the box. It's large and sturdy, like it once housed a large appliance. Feeling soaked to the bone you decide that even a box would be better.
It isn't until you've ducked down to enter that you realize that the box is already occupied to near capacity.
