You decide it is best not to take a chance on a portal. You believe you would be better off if you make the easy jump. You step back a few steps and trip. This causes you to fall backwards and you land hard on your back.

Above you the glass topples and spills its contents on your face. It immediately starts to burn like acid. The pain is intense while it lasts. You feel as if every cell of your body is on fire as you are slowly eaten by the liquid.

You died painfully without finding any means of escape.
