"You know, Doctor," Chapel says, "this does sound a little like the way you described what it was like on the planet you visited in Shore Leave." She shakes her head as though confused by what she's just said. "I mean, on shore leave. When things that you all thought became reality."
"Perhaps," McCoy says. "But an entire starship full of all of us, brought into existence like that?" He tilts his head on one side for a moment, thinking about it. "Dammit, I'm a doctor, not a philosopher. Maybe Spock would be able to figure this out, but all I can tell is that there's nothing physically wrong with you." You see Chapel's eyes go a little misty at the mention of Spock.
