Time Vortex/Fiddle with the hands/Continue/Second Hand Forwards

You move the second hand forwards. It edges forward one second and then *click* refuses to go further. You try to move the other hands, but find that these cannot be moved as well, no matter how hard you force them to move. All the hands are now stuck where they are.

As you were wondering about what had happened to your watch, a tiny, yet bright, dot of light appears before you, and you begin to feel very relaxed. The dot of light then swiftly expanded into several rays of light and you are momentarily blinded. Staggering, without any sight, you push yourself backward, thankfully falling on your soft mattress and not on the floor.

You close your eyes once, and then open them again, fearing and half-expecting not to see anything. To your surprise, your sight is restored again. You sigh deeply in relief.
