Throw your spear and collapse the path behind you, blocking off the skeletons

From Create Your Own Story

The way behind you is already blocked off by that massive skeleton army. Either there's another way out or there isn't. If there isn't, you're screwed anyway. You may as well protect yourself from the undead horde.

Taking careful aim, you hurl your spear in a powerful and accurate throw. The weapon smashes into the weakest part of the ceiling and the passage behind you collapses, large chunks of rock dropping down and sending dust flying. You smile in satisfaction. Then your smile turns into a frown. The collapse was a little more than you'd intended. You turn and begin to run, but a rock strikes you in the head and you slump down unconscious.

You wake up a few hours later, dizzy, with a pounding headache, and not quite knowing where you are or what you're doing down here. You begin stumbling forward, frequently bumping into the walls, too out of it to really care about where you're going, almost in a trance. You just follow the path of least resistance, heading downward. When a side tunnel, with a sharp drop into a new passage, branches off the main path, you stumble into it, falling over the edge, landing hard, and hitting your head. For the second time, you black out.

Several hours later, you sit up, groaning. Though your head is still in great pain, your brain is finally clear again. You remember reading something on the subject in a book when you were a teenage girl. Sometimes when one bump on the head causes a loss of memory and focus, another bump brings them back.

You check your body. You have some cuts and bruises, but no broken bones or other serious injuries. Then you check your stuff. You still have your backpack with the supplies, and your sturdy, expensive flashlight managed to land without breaking. You look upward behind you. The drop you fell down is far too steep to walk up, and there are no handholds in the sheer rock for climbing. You'll just have to take your chances with this new tunnel you've dropped into. The only question is which way.

You shine your flashlight in each direction. This passage is wider and smoother than the one you were in earlier. The tunnel looks similar both ways, but you think you can make out a faint red glow off in the distance in one direction. You click off your flashlight momentarily to make sure. Yes. Definitely a red glow.
